Does my Powersheds Log Cabin/Pergola/Gazebo need to go on a base?Updated 2 months ago
Yes – all wooden cabins need to go on a firm and level base. This could be a concrete base, paving slab base, timber bearers, or any other suitable base solution which is firm and level and can take the weight of the cabin.
It's really important that your base is perfectly level throughout, or you may experience things like dropping doors, or gapping between the logs. This is especially important to consider if using a patio as a base, as these are usually built on a slight incline to allow for water run-off.
