What thickness is the wood on the log cabins?Updated a month ago
All Powersheds Log Cabins are made with either 28mm single tongue or 44m double tongue and groove interlocking logs. This impressively thick timber provides plenty of sound and heat insulation and makes the buildings suitable for a variety of functions, made even better due to the secure fit provided by the double tongue and groove logs.
The roof and floor of your log cabin are made from 19mm boards. You’ll also receive 58x44mm pressure treated timbers to place under the floor (every foot or so) to provide a solid foundation for your build and to reinforce the floor.
