How do I track my order?Updated 18 days ago

Sheds & Decking Kits:

We deliver on the day you selected when placing your order. While live tracking isn't guaranteed, if you provided a mobile number, you may receive an email or text with an approximate two-hour delivery window on the day of delivery (this is not guaranteed). This is sent automatically if your local depot offers this service, once your shed is loaded onto the vehicle (most do!). Unfortunately, we're unable to provide a time slot before the delivery date. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to contact us anytime!

How delivery works

  • We send the order out 2 working days before your specified delivery date (or longer for post codes which are further away / offshore);
  • The shed will then be in the depot near to you in time for the delivery date you have chosen – your local depot can be found here https://www.palletline.co.uk/our-network/depots-and-contacts;
  • Providing you have given a mobile number, when the item is scanned onto a delivery vehicle you may be sent a text from the courier – please note the item can be scanned onto a vehicle at any point throughout the day (it could be on a morning run or an afternoon run) so you may not necessarily receive a text in the morning;
  • Delivery is typically made on an 26ton or an 18ton truck unless you have specified for a smaller 7.5/12ton vehicle (therefore if access is an issue please let us know);
  • The approximate delivery vehicle sizes are as follows –

  • We do request that the driver contacts you before arriving as well but this is also not guaranteed;
  • Delivery can be any time between 8am and 6pm (therefore please do not arrange for installation on the same day as delivery);
  • The courier has a high delivery success rate but in the very unlikely event that we’re unable to deliver or if a problem arises, we will aim to re-arrange delivery for the following morning. If delivery fails due to indisclosed access issues, delivery not being accepted kerbside or no-one being present to accept delivery, re-delivery charges may apply;
  • The order is delivered on a pallet – the delivery is moved with a pallet truck and where the driver can take it is down to the driver’s discretion (although they are usually very helpful). The pallet truck cannot take the pallet through a house, over grass or gravel, or up/down steps for example;
  • Delivery is contactless and so the driver cannot take the shed off the pallet and move it for you.

Log Cabins, Pergolas and Gazebos:

At the moment, live tracking is not available. However, we’ll be in touch as soon as your delivery date is confirmed. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Rest assured, we aim to ensure your order is delivered within the lead times advertised when you placed it.

Our premium log cabins, pergolas and gazebos are delivered on an 26t HIAB vehicle, using a crane which is positioned on the vehicle, behind the cab. If there are any access restrictions for a vehicle of this size (including overhanging trees, telephone wires, sharp turns or inclines), please inform us as soon as possible. 

The reach of the crane can vary depending on the incline of the surrounding area and any obstacles that might be present. For this reason, we offer a kerbside delivery service, and no guarantee can be made beyond this. 

The driver will unload the cabin pack using the crane and leave it as close to your desired location as possible. This is usually a driveway; however, we do sometimes get requests for deliveries to be made over fences, gates etc. Wherever possible the driver will do this for you, however if there isn’t sufficient reach with the crane, it will be delivered somewhere more accessible. Where the driver will leave the pack is ultimately at their discretion. 

We do request that someone is present at the point of delivery. There will be one driver and having someone with knowledge of the property to advise them where to leave the pack can be very helpful. Once the driver has delivered the cabin pack, they will not be able to assist with unpacking or moving the components. 


Accessories:

If not ordered with a shed, our accessories are usually delivered via a small goods courier. Tracking information can be provided upon request.

No-one has to be home as the driver can leave the parcel secure if there is somewhere safe to do so. Tracking information can be provided once the goods have been despatched by contacting [email protected]
